ARVOR (ARGO profiler )

ARVOR float has been developed by IFREMER in industrial partnership Design has been performed by using an important know how in float activities and well-qualified subassemblies.

NKE, PROVOR manufacturer, has achieved the industrial design. ARGOS satellites are used to collect data and localize ARVOR when surfacing. ARVOR has been designed electrically to performed 250 cycles between 2000 meters until surface

Advantages:

  • Fully ARGO compliant
  • light and easy to deploy less than 20Kg
  • "Sea-bird" proven CTD metrology, continuous pumping
  • Autonomy and more than 200 cycles
  • ARVOR connectivity using RF bluetooth
